Our goal is to inspire you to spend more time with your horse.

The privacy & amenities of the So 8ths is just the location to relax with a small group of equestrians.  Enjoy sharing horsemanship with like minded folks along with other equine professionals in this beautiful setting. 

 Knowledge is a terrible thing to waste and we want

to share it with you.   

 You will also have time to enjoy the grounds, play on the obstacles and have use of the many arenas.  Miles of trails and many interesting sights to see on this farm consisting of over 1600 acres.

We are excited to share that Joe & Penny Most were the Winners of  the AQHA Trail Challenge Event hosted by AQHA in MO for the 2015 & 2016. Educational opportunities available during the weekend with Perfect Partners Equine-  (limited to 15 riders)

Thursday- 10 am- 4 pm (2 hr lunch break)

Let's try working without a net.  This workshop will focus on using longer lines on the ground, riding from the ground and testing our skills with a game of " Stick to me" 

Gotta get used to it! This workshop will work on areas specific for the trail horse and the many distracting & unusual encounters they need to become accustomed to dealing with on the trail. 

Special Demonstration Thursday @ 6:30 pm- Relaxation & the Trail horse!  

Friday- 10am-5 pm (1hr lunch break)

Everything under the sun. This new workshop will be individualized for each participant to work on areas that they feel they need the most help.  You can customize your experience for this workshop. 

Special Demonstration Friday at 6:30 pm- Relaxation & the Trail Horse (part II) with a selected horse from the group.  

Saturday- 10am-4pm (2 hr lunch break)

Getting Particular.  This workshop will teach you how to control specific areas of your horse's body. You will learn how to be position your horse to manuever obstacles & gain better overall body control.

Water obstacles with a twist! Get ready for a fun challenge in this workshop with water obstacles and other fun challenges in and around the water.   

Sunday- 11am-3pm

Practice Obstacle Course with coaching session. Each rider will have a chance to ride through course on obstacles and recieve guidance and helpful suggestions.   

Different topics covered each day.   

  For all breeds & disciplines including beginner & advanced riders and/or horses.  

Horsemanship skills used in areas of trail riding, trail obstacles, dressage, reining, cattle work, horsemanship, ground work and liberty skills will all be a part of these workshops.

During the event you will have the opportunity to participate in equine demonstrations, class room/lecture events & spend time riding & working with your own horse with the coaching & guidance of  professionals.

  The So 8ths Farm has a long history with horses and you will feel the spirit of the horse everywhere on the farm.
