Program Description:
Learn tax strategies for 2017 and beyond. Our speaker will address the following issues:
•  What is going on with Tax Reform? 
• 
How about the American Health Care Act? 
•  How will this affect my clients and what can we do?  
•  What should we do about tax and estate planning for 2017?
Larry will present the latest information on what is going on with these topics and let advisors know what they should be aware of for their clients for 2017.

Lawrence Pon, CPA/PFS, CFP, EA USTCP

Larry's office in Redwood Shores provides full service tax preparation, tax planning and tax representation. He enjoys helping his clients reach their financial goals and paying the least amount of taxes. Larry holds a BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley with emphases in Accounting and Finance and received his MS in Taxation from Golden Gate University.

Larry can represent clients before the US Tax Court by passing the Tax Court Examination for non-attorneys. Larry has been a member of SF FPA since 1993 when becoming a CFP. Larry volunteers as a Money Doctor for the AICPA 360 Degrees of Financial Literacy. He is the chair of the Financial Literacy Committee for the Peninsula Chapter of CalCPA. He has been serving as a member of the Board of Directors for the Golden Gate Business Bureau for over 20 years.

Larry enjoys participating in Financial Planning Day and other FPA Pro Bono activities. Larry is proud to announce that he will be a Cal Dad when his daughter starts at UC Berkeley this coming fall.
