Financial Planning in the Time of Coronavirus: Making Lemonade
Out of Lemons
Program Description:
World events, market upheaval, crisis: These can be times of great stress and also times of great opportunities. During this period of great uncertainty, how do we help safeguard clients and take advantage of new opportunities while setting up clients for success in the future? Join our distinguished panel of experienced advisors as they share what planning opportunities they are working on and what pitfalls they are working to avoid.
Panelists:
Landon Loveall, CFP®, Partner, KB Financial Advisors
Landon Loveall is a certified financial planner and partner with KB Financial Advisors, a fee-only firm focused on busy professionals. Since 2014, Landon has worked with tech employees, who are trying to maximize their stock options. He regularly writes on the KB Financial Advisors blog about the unique scenarios presented by employee stock options. When not working with clients in California, you can find Landon, his wife Melissa, and their three children kayaking down the Duck River near their hometown of Columbia, TN.
Sandi Bragar, CFP®, Managing Director in Planning Strategy & Research, Partner, Aspiriant
Sandi joined Aspiriant in 1999 and became a partner of the firm in 2002. Her areas of expertise include financial planning, developing strategies for concentrated stock positions, charitable gift planning and retirement planning. In addition to serving clients, Sandi is a Managing Director of Aspiriant’s Planning Strategy & Research team. She is responsible for creating best practices that help clients navigate the complex facets of their financial lives. Sandi works with our advisors to hone their understanding of both the intellectual and emotional spectrums of wealth by creating practices that break down challenging topics into a digestible format and provide context and clarity every step of the way. Sandi began her professional career in 1993 at Ernst & Young, where she spent two and a half years as a senior tax consultant in the firm’s Personal Financial Counseling practice, providing income and estate tax planning services to senior corporate executives and other high net-worth individuals.
