The Social Security cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) will be announced on October 13th, the day of this webinar. Elaine will talk about:
1) The new COLA and what it means for current and future Social Security recipients 
2) How the announcement intersects with Medicare 
3) How to show clients when to claim Social Security benefits and how to help clients transition to Medicare

Elaine began her career in the industry in 1981 and earned the CFP® designation in 1986. She has written several books, articles, and white papers for the financial service industry.She is the author of The Financial Advisor’s Guide To Savvy Social Security, The Financial Advisor’s Guide to Savvy Medicare, and The Financial Advisor’s Guide To Savvy Generational Planning.  She holds a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and resides outside of Seattle, WA.
