Program Description:
Stock market volatility and longer waits for liquidity provide a new set of complexities for clients with concentrated positions in their employer's stock. In this session, we will examine case studies of the challenges posed by restricted stock and stock options when price fluctuations lead to adverse tax consequences. Additionally, we will discuss opportunities for reducing out of pocket cash when exercising illiquid stock. Finally, we will discuss planning with QSBS, including case studies and equity compensation residency considerations.
