Program Description:
In this interactive presentation, Mariah will guide attendees through taking a Money Scripts assessment, which measures four core money beliefs: Money Avoidance, Money Worship, Money Status, and Money Vigilance. 

We will review the beliefs and how knowing one’s beliefs are important for the client - financial planner relationship. Additionally, we will review how the assessment can help clients increase their financial awareness and find balance with their financial decision making. Attendees will also learn about financial therapy and how it complements financial planning. 

*This topic has been approved by the CFP Board for 1.0 hour of CE credit.

Mariah, a Financial Therapist and Coach, blends mental health and financial management principles to help individuals, couples and entrepreneurs build their balance both financially and emotionally as well as create a healthy relationship with money. She received her MSW from UC Berkeley and her Executive MBA in New Zealand.  She is currently a CFT-I candidate, a newly established certification through the Financial Therapy Association. She is an avid adventurer, family person, cyclist, world citizen, weekend van lifer, and visionary of all good money things.
