SPE-South Texas "Recycling Plastics in 2022" Webinar February 1st, 2022 

SPE-STX is pleased to welcome, Jason Ball, President of Reterra Corporation as our guest speaker  on Feb 1^st 2022.  Jason's talk is entitled, “Recycling Plastics in 2022”. The topics covered are divided into three areas; (1) the types of plastics recycled (2) the current data, regulatory and legislative environment and (3) possible solutions and potential consolidations.

Recycled plastics include post-industrial and/or post-consumer curbside, the transformative process of plastic packaging into new products and plastic reclaimers for both PET and HDPE.  The latest recycling data in the United States and the impact of these new laws on the industry will be reviewed. Lastly, the challenges and potential solutions will be discussed.
