To become a Festival Artist and attend the full week of Art Song Festival & Workshop activities you must register by clicking the registration button below. You must also submit a recording of two songs from contrasting styles in English, Italian, German, or French. Please mail all recordings, the application fee and any tuition balances to the address below.

To compete to perform on the opening concert of Art Song Festival, you must register by clicking the registration button below. Indicate in your registration whether you also plan to attend Art Song Festival & Workshop or whether you will only be competing. To apply to compete, you must register online by March 30, 2013 and return by mail the $50.00 entry fee, a recording of four of the selections and a program complete with notes and translations. Your mailed items must be postmarked no later than March 30, 2013 or you will not be considered for competition. 

DEADLINES

March 30 - All Competition applications & recordings must be received by this date. 

April 30 - Art Song Festival & Workshop Registration & Appplication fee to participate are due by this date. Registrations received after April 30 are considered late registrations and will be subject to a $30 late registration fee. In addition, those who register after April 30 are not guaranteed a performance slot. 

May 15 - No monies will be refunded after this date!

June 10 - No late registrations will be accepted after this date!

June 24 - Final due date for all outstanding tuition & fees for any optional housing or meal plan ordered

FEES

Tuition (for everyone EXCEPT high school students), including the application fee, is $650 for the week and does NOT include travel expenses, or food.  

Tuition (high school students only) the rate is $200 ($150 of tuition plus the $50 application fee). Meals and dorm housing are additional.

Dorm Housing (optional) is available on campus in dorms for $162 for the week and includes bed linens. 

Meal plan (optional) covering breakfast and lunch is available for $75 for the week.

Travel is not covered.  The nearest airports are Toledo Express Airport (TOL) or the Detroit Metro (DTW) airport. 

In addition to registering, you must complete the Participation Permission/Medical Consent form. Even if you are over 18, we ask that you fill this out since it also addresses the event of a medical emergency. It helps us know how to respond to your needs and tells us who to contact on your behalf. Please print it, complete it and bring it with you or mail it in with your registration fee.
