Register for Quick Assessment Games & Record-Keeping Strategies Workshop 

This workshop focuses on quick and easy assessments to help you fulfill your Student Learning Objectives and other assessments.  Bring an SLO and we will create assessments for it. Paper-and-pencil as well as skill-based assessments and portfolio assessments will be explored.

Although no college credit is available for this workshop, we will certify 15 contact hours that you may use for relicensure. Please forward any school disctrict paperwork to the workshop presenter, Dr. Pamela Stover at Pamela.Stover@utoledo.edu

REGISTRATION & CHECK-IN

To register click the button at the bottom of this screen and complete the online registration form. Register today even if you plan to pay later.

Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. Monday, June 30 in the UT Center for Performing Arts (main campus). Parking is just across the street in Area 12. The workshop runs from  9 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 30-July 2.

FEES & OTHER COSTS

Workshop Fee $150 for this 3 day workshop. It does NOT include travel expenses or food.  Cost is just $125 if you register and pay by the early bird registration date of June 2.

Three-Workshop Package If you are planning to attend all three music education workshops which we are offering,  you can save $100. That's an additional $25 savings over and above registering early for each individual workshop. The regular price of all three purchased separately is $450; the price of each purchased separately by the early bird registration deadlines for each workshop would be $375. But buy the workshop package now and your final price for all three packages is $350.

PAY NOW or PAY LATER If you are planning to pay today, choose the Pay with PayPal or Credit Card option. If you plan to pay later, choose the Pay by Check option. You will then be able to pay later by check or by credit card.

Dorm Housing (optional) is available on campus in dorms for $100-$160 for the week, depending on the room options you choose. Please visit UT Residence Life for details. Reserve your room with Residence Life and let them know you are participating in a Music Department workshop. You will pay them directly for your room. Hotels There are many local hotels and motels to choose from in the area. One of the closest is the Ramada Hotel and Conference Center (3536 Secor Road). We have had many previous students stay there with good reviews.

Meals are not provided. There are many locations on and off campus where meals can be purchased. We also have a refriegerator, microwave and a student lounge if you want to bring your own. We are also planning to put together a dutch-treat lunch. More information will be provided at check-in.

Travel is not covered. The nearest airports are Toledo Express Airport (TOL) or the Detroit Metro (DTW) airport. Toledo is also serviced by Amtrak and Greyhound. Transportation to and from the airport/station is on your own.
