Welcome WWII Soldiers home in style!

The weekend commemorates the homecoming of millions of men and women returning from their WW II posts, both in the U.S. and from battlefronts in Europe, the Pacific and Africa over 70 years ago. Many of them traveled home to loved ones by train, which is why the historical society has joined with the Everett Railroad Company to offer rides. Visitors who hop aboard these steam excursion trains will be immersed in the 1940s as they encounter traveling service members and tune into period music and news broadcasted over the train.
