Puppetry and Story Telling




Puppet making and script writing will be combined to create a fun and enriching summer workshop experience for elementary aged students 3rd-6th grade and older adults. The intergenerational workshop will include a field trip to the Hemingway, Pfeiffer Museum archives in Piggott, AR for students to better understand the cultural condition of Northeast, Arkansas during the 1930’s. Older adults will contribute their own lived history to help interpret the historical setting. While building positive relationships among age groups adults and children will collaboratively write a script and create puppet characters that bring history to life.  Offered in conjunction with St. Bernard's Area on Aging.  Want to be reimbursed for your tuition?  Call 870-972-3052 to find out how!
