A Two Day ePortfolio Intensive
If your program or department is considering incorporating Digication’s ePortfolio services, or
has already begun implementation, consider registering for this two day intensive.* The
intensive’s goals will assist participants to:
• identify and assess needs of faculty and/or programs for implementation
• build cohorts for on-campus support
• match groups with mentors
• develop an ePortfolio culture on campus
• model ePortfolio best practices for UAA students, faculty, and staff
• construct a plan of action and timetable for moving forward
• prepare faculty and staff in the ePortfolio deployment
Planned topics covered will include:
• folio-thinking pedagogy
• getting started & workload balance
• identifying objectives and assessment
• crafting and implementing reflection and/or observation reports
• creating and implementing ePortfolio coursework, template building, and more
• using ePortfolios for course, track, and/or programatic assessment
• exploring other department/program uses
• developing Promotion & Tenure files
This is a hands-on event to support faculty and programs interested in incorporating ePortfolios.
Day 1 consists of discussions surrounding pedagogy, ePortfolios, and implementation. Day 2 consists of hands-on workshops. Registrants will be matched with a mentor who can help you with planning, development, deployment, and more.
The intensive is designed for department/cohort participation and compliments ongoing
conversations around campus, such as CAFE’s Assessment and ePortfolio workshop on April 3rd. Therefore, *Cohorts and departments are encouraged to apply together. In addition, priority will be given to participants working towards a wider-scale departmental approach.
Join us in person for this workshop (Room TBA)
