DVMS/Strata 2015.2016 Parent Dinner 

DVMS and Strata Montessori warmly welcome you to our annual Parent Dinner on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Please join us for a grand opening celebration for Strata. In addition to enjoying a delicious dinner and seasonally inspired desserts created by Niche Catering, you will have the opportunity to see the exciting things that are happening at Strata’s beautiful new location.

Strata Montessori is committed to the individual success of each student and to supporting the growth of child-centered learning in Canada. Our goal is to provide a creative, dynamic learning environment that fosters the development of the individual student, providing them with the necessary skills to seek and learn what is necessary to succeed in a changing world.

Formerly operating out of two rented rooms at Dundas Valley Montessori School, Strata has made great strides in four years. With enrolment climbing, the need for a permanent home for the students became obvious.

Thanks to your continued support, in May 2015, Strata purchased a former retreat centre from Canterbury Hills in Ancaster. The new location offers classrooms, a commercial kitchen, dorms, and five acres of land for our students to explore. It is surrounded by over 2100 hectares of natural lands protected by the Hamilton Conservation Authority, yet it is only minutes from Hamilton, Dundas, and Ancaster.

Our annual parent dinner will provide you, our valued supporters, with the opportunity to see the exciting things that are happening at our new location. We will also highlight the ways you can continue to Help Strata Grow by contributing to special projects and our building repair fund.
