Woodstock High School Business Expo-Vendors 

Every year, seniors across Cherokee County are required to complete a senior project.  For the second year in a row, WHS and Main Street Woodstock want to make sure the students start out on the right foot by collaborating on the Woodstock High School Business Expo.

 

Got a great business? Want to see students succeed? Enjoy meeting youth and talking careers? Want to showcase your career path? Want to donate some great prizes?

Join us in the WHS Cafeteria on Thursday, August 16, 2012 for the second annual Expo.  Last year we had over 30 business vendors on hand representing an array of local businesses.  This is the perfect time to link up with students interested in your career field, help them learn the ins and outs of your job and teach them more about our community.  We encourage you to pre-register for this event now so that you can be updated as more details about the event are available.  Parents will be invited to attend as well ... so you might just find some new customers!  Last year we gave away over 100 fantastic prizes, including movie tickets, restaurant gift certificates, iTunes gift cards, jewelry, and much more.  We want to make this year's event EVEN BETTER.  Businesses will be allowed to set up begining at 4:30 p.m.  We will start workshops for students at 5:30 p.m and the Expo will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  There will be over 370 seniors at WHS next year.  Imagine if we can put them on a career path that brings them back or keeps them in Woodstock!  WOW!
