This conference gives you the core skills to develop compliance driven policies and procedures. Students will come away with a ERSEA manual and policy workbook packed with the how-to's and insights to guide you through the ERSEA policy and procedure development process. The conference is designed to help staff and management develop a compliance system to utilize ERSEA data and monitor and support effective program planning. ERSEA: Developing Policies and Procedures is designed for experienced ERSEA staff and management, as well as those who have recently completed the ERSEA Monitoring and 2020 PIR training. Specific areas addressed include:
- 2019-2020 ERSEA On-Site Federal Reviews
- Preparing tracking systems for ERSEA 2020-2021 PIR reporting
- Recruiting and enrollment of undocumented families
- Aligning ERSEA with the community assessment
- Recruiting Homeless families and reserving homeless slots
- Best strategies for enrolling families with incomes up to 130 percent of poverty guidelines
- Attendance policies and addressing "chronically absent" children
