Anchors – Importance of Installation

Presentation Summary:
This will be a look into the environmental considerations of anchor installation as well as the parameters of the installation process itself that are vital to anchor performance.
Speaker Bio:
Eric Rist graduated from UMKC in 2013 with a degree in Civil Engineering. After graduating, he moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to work for Hilti in the Technical Service Engineering department to provide technical support for anchors & direct fastening systems. He moved to Kansas City in 2015, where he is currently a Structural Field Engineer for the Commercial & Civil industries, covering Kansas, Western Missouri, Nebraska & Iowa.
Ryan Skinner graduated from Auburn University in 2017 with a degree in mechanical engineering. After graduating, he moved to Plano, Texas to work for Hilti in the Technical Service Engineering department, where he specialized in anchors and direct fastening systems. At the beginning of 2019, he moved to Kansas City where he is currently based as a Field Engineer covering Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, and Utah. In this role he works with engineers working on Energy and Industry projects to help them find innovative solutions. In his spare time he enjoys camping, and has recently returned from a 3 week camping road trip through 10 national parks.
