After retiring as president of a billion-dollar healthcare company, in 2009, John Rivers opened his first 4 Rivers Smokehouse which now has 13 locations in Florida and one soon to open in Atlanta. Restaurant Business named John one of the Power 20 Leaders in the restaurant industry and he was a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2013.
