Kaleidoscope Culture Camp is for children that joined their families through adoption or foster care, their siblings and their parents.
This year we are offering 4 home-culture camp programs: African American, Chinese, Eastern European and Latin American. These programs are designed for children entering Kindergarten through 10th grade in the fall of 2018. Children will be divided into groups by age and will participate in cultural experiences that may involve: language, food, dance, song, folklore, traditions, architecture, and exploring the people/land/animals of their homeland.
We also offer a program for younger children. Safari is for pre-school age children, typically 3 and 4 year olds. Safari resembles a modified pre-school program, which includes cultural activities and games. Safari’s enrollment is limited to families with an older child enrolled in one of our other programs and where a parent volunteers at camp for the week.
We have a registration packet that would be helpful for new camp families. For a copy or any other questions, please contact us at culturecamp@caffa.org.
