DISASTER PREPAREDNESS SYMPOSIUM 2018
t is important for caregivers and planners who care for persons residing in facilities to be prepared and know how to respond in the midst of an emergency. This symposium will feature interactive and engaging sessions relevant to emergency preparedness as well as reviewing the most recent fires, disasters and evacuations that took place in California. Participants will be introduced to the various natural hazards to which residential facilities and health care organizations may be vulnerable and the potential impacts of those hazards.
