You are invited to Valley Sing on Saturday, March 12, 2022. Partnering with the Phoenix Children's Chorus, the Phoenix Boys Choir, and Mesa Community College, Valley Sing is designed to build community through song, bringing together friends and neighbors from across the Valley of the Sun for the fun and joy of singing.

Valley Sing is an opportunity for community singers of all levels to prepare choral works with three of Phoenix's preeminent conductors. The day then culminates in a showcase performance by the collective choir, Phoenix Children's Chorus,  Phoenix Boys Choir, and Phoenix Chorale.

Registered participants join us at 1:00 pm to prepare a wide variety of selections to be sung in a collective choir led by three conductors:

Christopher Gabbitas — Phoenix Chorale
Troy Meeker — Phoenix Children's Chorus
Herbert Washington — Phoenix Boys Choir

This fun afternoon of new music and new friends culminates in a free performance for the community at 4:00 pm.

COVID-19 PROTOCOL

Phoenix Chorale is deeply committed to the health and safety of everyone, not only within our organization but also those who attend our concerts. To that end, we have verified that all Phoenix Chorale personnel, including artists, staff and volunteers have been vaccinated prior to participating in any chorale activities.

In accordance with Maricopa Community College guidelines:

"Face coverings are still required for staff, faculty, students, police, and guests inside all Maricopa buildings. While the CDC guidelines state that fully vaccinated individuals do not need face-coverings in certain situations, it still asks individuals to wear face coverings around others indoors until more people are vaccinated, as this provides protection for those at high risk. However, face coverings are no longer required when an individual is outside. Face shields are not considered appropriate face coverings unless worn with a face mask underneath."

Specific health and safety protocols are subject to change. We will update audience health and safety protocols to align with medical and public health advice and will comply with the guidelines set by the CDC, our State and local governments, and the venues in which we perform. Changes will be clearly communicated in advance of any performance.

Special Message from Christopher Gabbitas:

"I am thrilled to announce the return of Phoenix Chorale's Valley Sing project: a free event which aims to bring together singers from across the Valley in a shared love of choral music, and to build a community through song. Alongside food, shelter and clothing I believe that expression through song is a basic human need, practiced throughout history as a means of communication and celebration in every tongue and every land across the world. Valley Sing provides a forum for anyone who wants to sing, allowing them to spend a day in the company of music-lovers young and old alike and raise their voices together in song.
I hope to see you there!"

Special thanks to our Valley Sing partners
