The Lustre® User Group (LUG) conference is the industry’s primary venue for discussion and seminars on the Lustre parallel file system and other open source file system technologies.
LUG provides attendees with the opportunity to:
- Hear from the world’s leading developers, administrators, solution providers, and users of Lustre
- Be an active participant in industry dialogue on best practices and emerging technologies
- Explore upcoming developments of the Lustre file system
- Immerse in the strong Lustre community, working collaboratively to further the development of Lustre

Call for Participation
OpenSFS relies on the real world experience of the open source Lustre community members to provide valuable sessions to LUG attendees. We’re pleased to extend a call for presentations to solicit topics from Lustre users. Detailed submission guidelines are available on the LUG website.
The abstract submission deadline is February 12, 2016. No submission extensions will be granted.

OpenSFS is pleased to offer one complimentary event pass to each member company of OpenSFS as a benefit of membership. The discount code will be sent to the OpenSFS primary contact, but it may be transferred to another representative at the same company.

The venue for LUG 2016 is the Hilton Portland, located in the heart of downtown Portland. A discounted room block has been reserved for LUG attendees.

General Attendee Room Rate: $189 USD for single occupancy, main tower king or double
Government Attendee Room Rate: $151 USD for single occupancy
Reservations can be made online via the Hilton Group reservation site. In order to receive the government rate, please select the ‘I have an access code’ option from the dropdown menu and enter SFSSTAFF.
Guest room rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes in effect at the time of check-out. Rooms will be offered based on space and rate availability.

Cancellation Policy:
On or before March 23, 2016: If you need to cnacel your LUG 2016 registration, please notify OpenSFS Administration by Wednesday, March 23, 2016. All cancellations received by this date will receive a full refund of their registration fee.
After March 23, 2016 & On-Site Registrations (based on availability): Cancellations received after March 23, 2016 will not be refunded. Registered attendees who do not attend LUG 2016 in person will not receive a refund of their registration fees. Registrations received on-site at the event (based on availability) willl not be eligible for a refund.
