An Introductory Workshop and Refresher on Centering Prayer

Whether you are new to Centering Prayer or a long time practitioner in need of a refresher course, please join us on June 13!
"Centering Prayer is a receptive method of silent prayer in which we experience God's presence within us and is both a relationship with God and a discipline to foster that relationship" (Fr. Thomas Keating, OCSO, a founding member of Contemplative Outreach). Participants will familiarize themselves with the method and its conceptual background, with ample opportunity to practice the prayer.
There will be a follow up to this Introductory Workshop on Saturday July 18, providing time and space to practice further, and share reflections, experiences, and questions.
Suggested goodwill offering at the door: $40.
