What is it?
This fundamental workshop provides you with the step by step design process in creating and branding your Master Template. Learn how to confidently set email marketing goals, brand your master template, and increase engagement by using simple yet powerful best practices.

Agenda:
During this three hour class we'll cover:

  • Creating a Master Template
  • Branding a Master Template with: Commpany Colors, Logo & Contact Information, and Links
  • Making Your Email “Social” by: Adding Social Buttons, Using the Social Share Bar & Simple Share, and Incorporating Forward to a Friend & Join My List features

Who Should Attend?
This session is geared for users who have little to no experience using Constant Contact’s, Email Marketing tool. It is also targeted towards users with some experience, but wants a more efficient way of creating a master template.

What is it?
As an extension of Email 101, this course will provide additional best practices and teach techniques to creating engaging content for your email communications. By incorporating more advanced Email Marketing techniques and features, learners will take an email to the next level by getting their audience to take action!

Agenda:
During this three hour class we'll cover:

  • Best Practices and Ground Rules for Creating Content
  • Creating Engaging Content in Your Email like: Videos, Advanced Image Editors, Surveys and Linking, Table Properties
  • Getting Your Emails Noticed through: Subject Line and From Name Best Practices, Pre-Header Teaser Text

Who Should Attend?
Email 101 is not required yet highly encouraged before attending Email 201. Email 201 is intended for users who have more experience using Constant Contact but want to learn more about additional features and techniques offered that will help increase engagement and opens within an email. Its focus is on creating engaging content and increasing interaction with your audience.

Alex Holden
Customer Training Specialist

Alex is one of the field trainers for Constant Contact and has a background in Marketing and Web Development. Alex has built several websites of his own and worked with several small businesses before joining Constant Contact in 2011. Alex grew up with his parents actively involved in the local Chamber of Commerce, his mother’s role at a local community bank, as well as his father’s own small business. Alex draws on this past experience to currently help Constant Contact customers.
