Conway Downtown Alive Scholarships 

Conway Downtown Alive offers two scholarships, the Carol Hoyt Scholarship and the David Summers Scholarship.  Applications will be accepted from Conway High School seniors (base school) and senior students residing within the city limits of Conway that have demonstrated outstanding community service during their high school career.  Preference will be given to Conway High School students.  These funds are to assist in education at a Post-Secondary Institution.

Scholarship Amount

$500-The Carol Hoyt Scholarship will be award to a student entering the nursing or medical field. 

$1000-The David Summers Scholarship will be award to a student entering the hospitality, design or visual arts fields.

The nonrenewable scholarship will be made payable to the recipient.

Eligibility Criteria

Awards will be based on outstanding community service during high school tenure.  Required club or society service hours do not apply. 

Applicants must be Conway High School senior students or senior students residing within the city limits of Conway.  Applications will be accepted from students that have attended a program high school, but are designated to Conway High School as their base school.

An interview with the Scholarship Committee may be required.
