PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS AND EQUPIMENT

The hands-on fire behavior labs takes place outdoors, and all attendees must have completed a minimum 36-hour Volunteer Firefighter Course, and are required to bring their own turnout gear and SCBA. 

REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Early registration is encouraged because each training session is limited to 35 participants and fills up quickly! Once registered, you will receive a confirmation letter, or a notification that you have been placed on a “wait list.” No “walk-in” registrations are permitted. 

All applicable registration fees must be paid prior to attending the training, unless specific arrangements have been made in advance. No refunds will be issued for “no shows.” In the event you must cancel your registration, please let us know at least 14 days PRIOR to the training so that we can promptly fill your position with someone on the wait list.

- Ohio Certified Fire Instructor and Fire Safety Inspector
- Co-chair of Ohio Fire Chiefs’ Association Water Supply Technical Advisory Committee
- Coordinator of Belmont County Tanker Task Force
- Deputy Director of the Belmont County 9-1-1 Communications Center

Other Instructors:
Includes a team of 15+ state certified fire instructors, emergency responders and industry experts with more than 500 years of combined experience in the oil and gas industry and/ or fire service.

OILFIELD TOUR (DATE TBA)
(Must attend day 1 and 2 to be eligible)
If indicated on the registration form, information will be provided about this opportunity to participate in a unique oilfield tour.
