Daily Dress Code: (all optional and totally fun!)
Monday: Wear your group color. You group leader will notify you of this color when group assignments are announced.
Tuesday: Wear your favorite color. Head to toe or just a little, let your favorite color shine!
Wednesday: Dress like a carnival/circus character: Ringmasters, animals, clowns or even crazy carnival colors! Be creative!
Thursday: VBS t-shirt day. T-shirts will be handed out earlier in the week.
VBS Mission Project:
This year we are supporting Kairos Prison Ministry, which holds weekend-long spiritual session at various prisons. The goal of Kairos Weekends is to bring God into the lives of some of the toughest criminals, with the hopes of transforming their hearts. "Agape" from children has the biggest impact in the weekend gatherings, and LHUMC VBS will be providing hundreds of hand-colored placemats and posters for the church's Kairos ministry team to use on their next Kairos Weekend. Be on the lookout for your child to bring home more mission information and a small at-home project on the first day of VBS. For more information on this incredible ministry, please visit:
