Spring Convention is for 7th - 12th Graders.

IMPORTANT:  As per Regional Youth Commission policy, NO REFUNDS will be given once your application has been submitted. If your payment is not made by the final deadline, then your registration will be considered void.

PLEASE NOTE:  The Convention will begin early afternoon on Friday May 9th and will conclude Sunday May 11th in the evening.  Optional bus transportation will depart various locations on Friday late morning and will be returning Sunday night. Attendance at Spring is for the entire convention, partial weekend attendance is not available.

Please be sure that a parent/guardian and the USY applicant both read, sign, and return this form by April 10th. If you have already submitted this form this year, you do not need to do send it again. Hey There Superstar!

It’s time to get in our PLANES, TRAINS and AUTOMOBILES, as we move FAST AND FURIOUS to NERUSYWOOD, a Star-Studded Spring! We will follow our PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS to where LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL at the DoubleTree Hotel in Milford, MA.

The convention will begin with THE USUAL SUSPECTS, as the chapter presidents WALK THE LINE during the parade of banners. When we have ice breakers, don’t be a LIAR, LIAR so we can learn each other’s true BOURNE IDENTITY.

When THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, it will be time for Shabbat. Girls, try on your 27 DRESSES, make sure your hair isn't TANGLED, and join our  MEN IN BLACK (or maybe even MEN IN TIGHTS) for services. Don’t worry, this won’t be THE HUNGER GAMES, we will be able to use our JAWS to eat  AMERICAN PIE and CHICKEN LITTLE, and drink the BEETLEJUICE. After dinner, even though we won’t be SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, our voices will be PITCH PERFECT when we'll be BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE with our ruach. When TWLIGHT hits, it will be time to go back to our rooms. SOME LIKE IT HOT, some like it FROZEN, but no matter what your favorite room temperature may be, everyone has to be back in their rooms at curfew. But  wait - there’s a CATCH 22: you can sing some more at our late night tisch followed by a trip to our WATERWORLD pool.

Saturday morning, we will wake up early for THE BREAKFAST CLUB. Afterward, we will  EAT, PRAY, LOVE during Shabbat. Make sure to follow in your siddur so you don’t get LOST IN TRANSLATION!  In the afternoon our LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE, Amanda Hills, will tell a great President's Shabbat story, because we know SHE'S THE MAN.

After Shabbat it will be time to GREASE up our hair, use our HAIRSPRAY,  get on our HAPPY FEET, and go PSYCHO for our FOOTLOOSE DANCE. Get ready because you may meet your PRINCESS BRIDE or IRON MAN. And, don’t forget your MONEYBALL for the Tikun Olam activities. After our fun-filled dance, we can all experience a FIELD OF DREAMS back in our rooms.

In the morning, don’t be GOONIES, LITTLE RASCALS, or MEAN GIRLS when THE CAMPAIGN begins. ALL THE PRESIDENT'S MEN (and women) will get together to elect next year’s board. Win or lose we know the candidates will have a BRAVEHEART, and elections won’t turn into an ANIMAL HOUSE.  

Finally, it will be time to walk down the red carpet, for the Academy Awards Banquet. There we will call our MAMA MIA for Mothers’ Day! Before the weekend is over, and you go out to the parking lot and say DUDE, WHERE'S MY CAR, be sure to say goodbye to all the GOODFELLAS and ladies because before you know it, Spring will be GONE WITH THE WIND.
