NERUSY Leadership Retreat

WHERE: CAMP RAMAH, PALMER, MA

WHEN: NOVEMBER 14-16, 2014 (21-23 Heshvan, 5775). Everyone should plan to arrive between 2:45 - 3:30 PM in order to register and prepare for Shabbat. We will be beginning Shabbat at 4:00PM. No one will be accepted into the retreat after 4:00PM. The weekend will conclude at 1:00PM on Sunday. Participants must attend the entire weekend.

FOR WHOM: Leadership Retreat has a limited enrollment. The weekend is designed for chapter officers and the Regional General Board. Each chapter should strive to send their Senior USY chapter board members. Registration will be first come, first served until a maximum capacity has been reached

SPECIAL GUSEST PRESENTER: We will have the Director of High School Engagement from AEPi teaching us recruitment techniques,  especially focusing on how to reach out to new members, how to call people, and how to build relationships.

LEADERSHIP & THE CHAPTER: Through leadership training sessions, led by the regional officers and staff, as well as through program exchanges, Leadership Retreat is an opportunity for chapter officers to join together for a weekend of fellowship, sharing, and learning. Leadership Retreat is geared specifically towards improving the chapter.

COST: $198 Registration Fee PLUS $55 Bus Fee (optional). Buses will depart from central locations (Sharon & Newton Areas) at approx. 1:15PM & 2:00PM on the 14th and will depart Camp Ramah at Approximately 1:00PM on the 16th.

SCHOLARSHIPS: Scholarships are available, CLICK HERE for a scholarship application. Scholarship apps are due October 22nd.

REFUNDS: As per Regional Youth Commission policy, absolutely no refunds will be given once reservation has been received in the Regional Office.

DEADLINE: All applications must be received by the NERUSY Regional Office (385 Ward St., Newton, MA 02459 or online) BY Monday, November 3rd. Acceptance material will be sent out soon after the deadline.

NOTE: Price includes accommodations, kosher meals, staff supervision, leadership materials, workshops, Saturday night program, lots of fun, and much, much more!
