The two-day Accelerated Route to Member program is designed for practitioners with a fair knowledge of basic legal principles and dispute resolution mechanisms. The course introduces concepts and principles of international commercial arbitration practice and is sufficient to qualify for the level of Member of the CIArb, which entitles individuals to use the MCIArb credential after their names.
The program provides unrivalled training in international arbitration, both for those who wish to appear as counsel in international arbitration proceedings and for those who wish to start to build a foundation for eventual appointment as an arbitration. Topics to be covered include:

• The law of international arbitration: legal systems and rules

Fees
The Accelerated Route to Fellowship (International Arbitration) Assessment registration fees are as follows:
$1,650.00– General attendees
$1,350.00 – Current ABA Construction Forum Members
$1,250.00 – Current CIArb members upgrading their membership
$1,350.00 per registrant for groups of 3 or more from the same firm
Fee includes all workshop materials, coffee, refreshments, continental breakfast, lunch and dinner on April 28, 2019, and continental breakfast and lunch on April 29, 2019. For applicants requiring a Visa Letter there is an additional cost of $75 (to defray expenses).
Cancellation: A cancellation fee of $150 will be charged if cancellation is prior to April 1, 2019; $500 if after April 1, 2019 but prior April 15, 2019. No tuition refunds will be made if cancellation is after April 15, 2019, however the full tuition sum paid less $500 may be credited toward a future program offered by the North America Branch of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
Timing and Scheduling
The program will commence at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning, April 28, 2019 (workshops will commence at 9:00) and will conclude at 5:00 PM on Monday, April 29, 2019. Following the workshops, participants will be required to complete a take-home, open book written examination.
There will be a cocktail and dinner for Candidates and Faculty on Sunday, April 28, 2019 starting at 6:30 PM. The cost of this dinner is included in your tuition fee. A light breakfast, lunch, and beverages/snacks will be provided on Sunday and Monday by our host Hogan Lovells at no cost to our attendees.

Continuing Education (CLE)
Application for CLE credits is being made for Florida and other states. Forms for filing in other states will be provided. CLE credits earned are between 6 and 8 credits depending upon the state.
The workshops will commence at 9:00 AM on Friday, September 14, 2018 and conclude at 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 15, 2018. The award writing examinations will commence at 9:00 a.m. and conclude at 1:00 PM on Sunday, September 16, 2018.
