Border Battle Qualifier 

This is our 3rd year hosting a qualifier for the Border Battle Tournament in Niagara Falls Canada, but the first year we have gotten an 8Ball AND a 9Ball slot!!!  You must make sure you understand all the rules and regulations before entering your team! The first of many NEW events brought to the Greater DC Area!!  Your team MUST be able to attend the tournament in Canada from November 8th to the 10th to register!  ***EACH MEMBER TRAVELING TO CANADA MAY NEED A PASSPORT AS THE TOURNAMENT IS ACROSS THE BORDER ON THE CANADIAN SIDE!***

Greater DC Area Qualifier details:

Field Size:  24 Teams

Entry Fee:  $240 per team

Type:  Standard 8 Ball Team Event - Modified Single Elimination

Split Table format will be utilized AS SOON AS table availability permits!!  This is the format for the tournament in Canada, so we want you to be prepared!

Team Requirements:

Team cannot include more than 3 players that are attending the World Pool Championships in August

All team members must be on an 8Ball team in the Summer Session and all members on the winning team must remain on an 8Ball team in the Fall Session

Each member must have a minimum of 20 8Ball matches played in the last 2 years

Team Roster must include at least 4 team members that are all playing on the same 8ball team in the Summer and Fall Sessions (You can use your whole team, or just 4 players from your team plus 4 others)

We are only accepting online registration via this website.

Prize Payouts -

  • Based on a FULL FIELD! (Payouts will be adjusted if a full field isn't obtained)
  • 1st Place - $3000 to the team for TRAVEL ASSISTANCE to the Niagara Falls Tournament
  • 2nd Place - $1000 cash to the team

The $1200 entry fee to the tournament in Canada is taken care of and entry to the tournament includes 3 rooms in Canada (2 rooms on site and 1 room off site), and all greens fees (tables will be open).
