She is a founder of the Institute for Jewish Spirituality, where she teaches Torah through the lens of mindfulness practice and yoga. Her writing includes essays on contemporary issues of social justice, poetry, Torah and prayer commentaries and she has written a memoir: Surprisingly Happy: An Atypical Religious Memoir. She is a developer and leader of the Jewish Mindfulness Teacher Training program.  She is a prolific and profound poet whose work has been widespread. Her teaching style is warm and real, and she is hysterically funny.

Rabbi Myriam Klotz: Rabbi Myriam Klotz is a co-founder and co-director of The Yoga and Jewish Spirituality Teacher Certification Program at Elat Chayyim Jewish Spiritual Retreat Center, and is the Director of the Spirituality Initiative at HUC-JIR in New York. She has served as director of Yoga and Embodied Practices at the Institute for Jewish Spirituality for ten years.   A certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist, she writes and teaches about the body and Jewish healing nationally. She received her B.A. from Brown University and graduated from the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College.  Her recordings include Each and Every Day: Yoga and Meditation for Jewish Spirituality.  Myriam is a gifted teacher with enormous warmth, depth, and heart.

Rabbi Jill Zimmerman: Founder of the Jewish Mindfulness Network and a community rabbi in Los Angeles.  She teaches widely on Jewish spirituality and mindfulness, teaching classes and leading seminars and retreats.  She is devoted to creating access to profound Jewish wisdom, and paths to wholeness and holiness.  She is a graduate of the Institute for Jewish Spirituality's Rabbinic program and is certified as a Jewish Mindfulness teacher. With a background in group and organizational development, training and national leadership in the Reform movement, she found her way "home" and began rabbinic school at age 47.
