Childhood Traumatic Stress:

An Introduction & Overview 

This training is hosted by Family Service of Rhode Island's Trauma Training Academy! The Trauma Training Academy is a National Child Traumatic Stress Newtork Site and is proudly presenting a Trauma Training Series with 5 different training topics. 

This 2 hour training provides an overview of childhood traumatic stress and its impact on childhood development. Participants will learn the different types of childhood trauma, the common symptoms of childhood traumatic stress, and how this can ifluence the brain. Participants will receive an overview of the impact on a child’s functioning across  various domains. Training will conclude with how to get children back on track, how to foster resiliency, and the available evidence based treatment options.  

Training costs $35 and CEU's will be available.
