Mentors as Teachers, Learners, and Leaders:  Professional Development Opportunities for the Mentor Teacher

Are you interested in exploring becoming a mentor teacher?  Mentoring is a relationship-based adult learning strategy intended to promote and support a teacher’s awareness and refinement of her professional learning process and teaching practices. Early childhood teachers face increasing quality improvement standards, assessments and expectations about what they should know and be able to do in promoting children’s early learning and development. This training is designed to support the further development of experienced teachers in their important role of mentoring. Learn important strategies in supporting new teachers.
