Tenth Annual Hope Awards Dinner 

The Hope Awards Dinner, hosted by Calvary Women’s Services, is your chance to meet some local heroes.  This intimate dinner honors those who offer hope and support to women in need.  Each honoree has done significant work that brings us closer to a community that cares for and supports all people.

 Women who have successfully moved from Calvary’s programs will share their journeys from homelessness to independence.

Past Hope Award honorees include entrepreneur and philanthropist Sheila C. Johnson, Diane Rehm of NPR’s The Diane Rehm Show, Bernice Johnson Reagon of Sweet Honey in the Rock, Gwen Ifill of PBS’ Washington Week and The NewsHour,  Michelle Singletary of The Washington Post,  Linda Rabbitt of Rand Construction Corporation and Chief Cathy Lanier of the Metropolitan Police Department for their outstanding work in the community.
