Margolis & Bloom's Law School for Social Workers Program is geared specifically towards social workers who work with older adults with persons with disabilities.

The first hour of this program will focus on MassHealth coverage for long-term care in a nursing home.  Topics include the following;

• Asset and income limits
• Transfer of assets
• How to protect the home
• How to protect the health spouse
• New Developments

The second hour of this program will focus on MassHealth coverage for care in the "community," which is care at home or in an assisted living facility.  Topics include the following;

• Advance planning and crisis planning
• Home and Community Based Waiver
• Personal Care Attendant ("PCA")
• Adulst Foster Care ("AFC")
• Community Choices ("choices")

This program will be taught by Margolis & Bloom attorney, Patricia C. D'Agostino.

Attendees will receive two NASW approved Continuing education credits.
