Artz 'N' Action Fall 2017 Classes

Artz "N" Action is an active study in the fine arts that gives students the opportunity to explore their world & find their inner creativity, in an environment that nurtures their self esteem. Children need to dream and express themselves in order to grow. They need to understand and respect the beauty and diversity of the world around them in order to find themselves.

We started in 2005 and our services range from seasonal art classes to art and dance camps. This fall we've put together a unique variety of art classes for students of all ages. As requested, we’ve recently opened up an adults only series as well.

Art, Baby & Me - MWF - 9:30 - 10:15 AM (5 wks, 15 classes/hours) - Art Classes for Parents with Infants. Safe and nurturing calm creative time for caretaker & baby (non-toddling). $150

Homeschool Art Inspirations - MWF 11:45 - 12:45 (5 wks, 15 classes/hours) - Elementary age children will combine art and movement to create inspiring works of art and learn the basics of color and technique. Students will use a variety of mediums including clay, watercolor and acrylic. $185

Homeschool French Culture & Impressionism - MW - 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM (5 wks, 10 classes/) Middle school students will learn about French language and culture including counting, colors, family members, foods, animals, body parts and songs. They will also study French Impressionism & Expressionism using a variety of mediums & techniques including watercolor, acrylic & clay. All classes will end with an Art Gallery Exhibition. $250

After School Art of Color - Fridays - 4:30 - 5:30 PM (5 wks/classes) - Art Classes for Elementary students. These active art classes will focus on color dynamics and theory. Students will explore color using a variety of mediums including clay, watercolor, collage and acrylic. $125

After School Art of Minatures - Fridays - 5:45 - 6:45 PM (6 wks/classes/hours) - Art Classes for Middle and High School students. Students will explore the world of minature art using a variety of mediums including watercolor, acrylic, clay and natural & recycled items. $150

NEW - Adults Only Series - MW - 10:30 - 11:30 AM (5 wks, 10 classes) - $150 

Art Body Move - Art for healing the mind and body. Art is
theraputic for the mind. It is known to reduce stress and anxiety, but the action of art can also be theraputic for the body. Join us as we create art that is healing for both the body and mind. 

Art of Prayer - Learn to pray through the artistic process. God’s beauty is all around us, together we will reflect on these gifts and create works of art while we pray and give thanks.
