2010 Opening Meeting

The Culinary Guild of New England is happy to invite you and your guests to our annual opening meeting at the lovely and historic Commander's Mansion in Watertown.  Don't miss this chance to reconnect with old friends, meet new Guild members, and to win a prize from the legendary Culinary Raffle.  In addition, you'll hear about a lot of new events and offerings coming from the Guild this year - including membership cards entitling you to discounts around town.

The Guild celebrates the beginning of the 2010-2011 season with a most wonderful guest speaker, Kathy Gunst, the resident chef on NPR's "Here and Now" daily news program.  With a philosophy that "fresh, simple food is best," Kathy has earned a nomination from the James Beard Foundation and has co-authored six Stonewall Kitchen cookbooks.

The Opening Meeting will include complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres, as well as a chance for new and returning members to reconnect over a shared passion for food.
