Russian Tea Service at the Russian Icon Museum

While vodka is typically associated with Russia, there's another beverage that has steeped its way into the hearts of Russians - tea!

Russia has a long history and deep love of this deliciously aromatic beverage that may just surpass that of the English.  We invite you to discover flavors and traditions of Russian tea with us on April 20th.

Join us for a traditional Russian tea with St. Petersburg native Larissa Dyan at the Russian Icon Museum. Sip and sample Russian teas and desserts (including Larissa's delicious homemade "pryanik," or spice cake) as you learn about Russian tea history and traditions.  You will also enjoy a presentation filled with artworks devoted to Russian tea drinking.and learn how Russian samovar (a metal container used to boil water) works.

This fun, informative afternoon is open to 12 Culinary Guild members and guests.  The cost to attend is $45 for members and $55 for guests.
