Plans for the 3rd Annual Fire Pitch Competition, hosted by Ignite Healthcare Network, are well underway to uncover technology-driven, women-led companies, poised to transform the healthcare industry. 

The achievements of women-led companies have reached a new level of recognition and yet continue to be inordinately underfunded in venture capital. Research conducted by the McKinsey Global Institute associates the unique leadership skills of women with a 41% higher return on equity and 56% better operating results for women-led businesses. The data supports change in the venture capital arena.
