Philanthropy, Racial Equity and Fiscal Policy

The Grantmakers Income Security Taskforce (GIST) invites you to attend Philanthropy, Racial Equity and Fiscal Policy on October 10, 2017 in Washington, DC.  This meeting is free of charge and open to foundation representatives and philanthropic advisors only.

Join GIST this fall for a one-day funders discussion on the intersection of racial equity, fiscal policy and the role of philanthropy.  Sessions will explore the role of race in current budget and tax reform debates, key policy changes that can move us towards a more racially equitable economy and society, and how funders are applying a racial equity lens both internally in their institutions and externally in their grantmaking.  Participants will have the opportunity to hear from national and local grantee partners, engage in dialogue with philanthropic colleagues and seek answers to questions that enable them to advance their work.
