Is Starting a Business Right for You? The SCORE Simple Steps for Starting Your Business Workshop Series can give you a smart start and begin your journey to business success!
This Saturday morning workshop series is a great opportunity for you to evaluate your business idea to find out if it is worth investing in! The five-week series is intended to establish enough information for you to make a good decision about what to do next. Successful experienced SCORE volunteer executives and business experts will help you reach a "go or no-go" decision for starting your business.
The Simple Steps for Starting Your Business workshops will help you:
- Define and evaluate your ideas
- Develop a marketing strategy
- Identify the best ways to fund your start-up
- Turn your idea into action with tools and templates
- Get useful and helpful mentoring sessions

Participants who are ready to pursue their business idea may sign up for the remaining workshop series - Sessions 3-5. The total package cost of all remaining Sessions 3-5 is $125. Veterans, active duty and their immediate family members can pay a discounted price of $75 (only with proper ID). It is also possible to register for each of the remaining sessions 3-5 individually at $50 each session. Registration for Sessions 3-5 is limited to only 20 registered students on a first-come first-served basis.
Online payments are made securely through PayPal (PayPal account is not required), must have a credit or debit card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express or Discover). If you have a PayPal account you will need to use the credit card associated with that PayPal account.
When you arrive at the PayPal screen you will have the option to log into your PayPal account if you have one or select "Don't have a PayPal Account" where you will be able to enter your billing information.
