Introductory Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3), Preschool (Feb 2022)
This training is an introductory training on the developmental screening tool Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3).
The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ-3) gathers parent observations and insights to create a snapshot of the child's growth in areas like communication and motor development.
Community providers can use the ASQ to empower parents and facilitate the family's connection to relevant resources. In this training, you will:
- Learn how to use, score and interpret the tool
- Gain tips for engaging and empowering parents in this process
- Practice discussing results in a sensitive and productive way
- Discover resources and recommendations you can offer families after an ASQ-3
