Save Texas Schools Houston Workshop

Join us at the Save Texas Schools Houston Regional Workshop on Saturday, May 19 to learn practical ways that you can support pro-public education candidates and legislators. With the May 29 primary quickly approaching, it's time for us to make sure that our legislature does the right thing for Texas public schoolchildren in 2013!

Workshops include: School Finance and Budget Cuts, Supporting Pro-Public Education Candidates, The Truth About Testing and How to Hold an STS House Meeting. In addition, we will have a panel of local school leaders and legislators.

The event is FREE, but you must register. Lunch, refreshments and workshop materials are included. Childcare is also available with pre-registration.
