Test Design Using Physics of Failure: The DfR Solutions Approach

 In today’s high-tech world, we heavily depend on electronics for our health, safety, mobility and economic welfare. When they fail, the results can be as minor as consumer annoyance to as severe as loss of life. One way to ensure that the product meets it intended use and life is through appropriate testing. Developing an appropriate test plan requires a requisite understanding of the component/part, the stresses it may see during its use environment and the potential failure modes that a testing activities might uncover. Product test plans are critical to the success of a new product or technology introduction.

 DfR Solutions has worked closely with hundreds of OEMs in multiple industries developing thousands of test plans to ensure product quality, reliability and durability are met.
