Meet the Emcee
Timothy E. Foley, CRPC®
Tim Foley is a Relationship Manager for Diversified Brokerage Services, one of the largest national brokerage agencies specializing in life insurance. He provides the information, tools, and personalized assistance to help agents and advisors in providing their clients with protection for the unexpected.
Tim serves brokers by offering the advantages of DBS’ comprehensive product and service model. He is affiliated with an extensive network of insurance professionals through the professional associations NAIFA, Chicago Finance & Insurance Professionals LiNC., and Alpha Gamma Rho Alumni Association. Foley’s experience as a Lobbyist for the life insurance industry in D.C. has also cultivated relationships and an understanding of legislative issues relating to the industry.
Tim is the 2022 NAIFA IL President and has served on the state board since 2017. He has been a loyal NAIFA member since February 2012. Tim is also a graduate from NAIFA’s Leadership in Life Institute (LILI).
Tim and his wife Kristin live in Lake Forest with their newborn daughter Emma Rose and dog Millie.

Matt Duffy, LUTCF, FSS
Matt Duffy began his career with COUNTRY Financial in in 2001 in Madison County and moved his office to Murphysboro in 2007. His successful career includes 20 consecutive All-American qualifications, Emerald and Platinum Club Qualifier and is a COUNTRY LTC annual premium record holder. In 2022, he was inducted into the COUNTRY Financial Hall of Fame.
He has qualified for MDRT for 8 consecutive years and is a former board member for NAIFA East Side. Matt has a BS in Marketing from SIU Carbondale and enjoys golf and hunting. He has been married to his wife Amanda for 21 years and they have 3 wonderful children: Jacob (17), Lucas (13), and Jacey (10). He also runs a whitetail outfitting business on the family farm.

Kyler Spencer, CFP®
Kyler provides financial advice and guidance to highly successful individuals. He has been a valuable part of the FSM Wealth team since 2016 when he began as an internal analyst. Kyler graduated from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance.
Kyler has been a frequent industry speaker at several NAIFA conferences. He was also appointed to serve as a director on the board in 2021 for NAIFA Illinois, and he continues to serve on the board today. Kyler is also a two-year member of MDRT. Kyler also holds the CFP® designation.
Outside of FSM Wealth, Kyler still enjoys playing competitive golf, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.
