The Cursillo Ministry of Northern California invites you to:
Cursillo #114
Men's Weekend

Cursillo is a short course in Christian living. The program is designed to build enthusiasm for your faith and renew your commitment to serving Christ in your community.

It is a very rewarding and challenging experience for most people. However, it is demanding - both physically and emotionally.

Cursillo is not intended to provide treatment for personal problems or marital difficulties.  Those in emotional crisis should resolve their difficulties before attempting to attend Cursillo.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

What does it cost to attend?
Candidate expenses are covered by sponsors and generous community donors.  The hope is that candidates will one day "pay it forward" by sponsoring a candidate for a future Cursillo weekend.

I am married.  Do I need to attend with my spouse?
Cursillo #114 is gender specific, and open to men only. It is not necessary to attend with your spouse. Co-ed weekends may be available at a future date, at the discretion of the Cursillo Ministry of Northern California. (Note: Women have the opportunity to attend Cursillo #115, happening May 30-June 2, 2019)

Is this just for members of the Episcopal Church?
No.  The weekend will reflect the beliefs and traditions of the Episcopal church, but is open to any person of faith that seeks to deepen their relationship with Christ.

When do I arrive?  When do I go home? Is there free time?  Can I watch the playoff game?  Will I have my own room?
Many of these logistical questions will be answered as we get closer to the date of your Cursillo weekend.  Typically candidates arrive after dinner on Thursday evening, and go home on Sunday after lunch.  It is rustic, summer camp-style housing.  By design, the weekend is "unplugged" so there will be no TV, wi-fi, or cell service.
