College of Diplomates (CDABO) Prep Course for the ABO Clinical Exam

The College (CDABO) is pleased to offer a preparatory course for individuals interested in taking the American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) new Scenario-based Oral Clinical Examination to achieve board certification.  The ABO Written Examination never expires; if you have previously successfully completed this component, you are now ready to take the Clinical Examination. The course outline will consist of an overview of the new examination format and how to prepare.  Review of the Discrepancy Index, Cast-Radiography Evaluation and Case Management Form will take place, and will include a hands-on practice with calibration models and video references. Understanding dental and skeletal changes that occur with growth, assessing hand-wrist radiographs, and interpretation of cephalometric superimpositions (with proper structure identification) will be reviewed.  The scenario exam development process, along with sample case questions and answers will be discussed, as will critical thinking skills and examination scoring.

Both Prep Courses being held at the AAO Annual Session are the same course.  Both courses are designed to  assist attendees in preparing for the new exam format.  Participants will receive 5 CE credits for their participation.

Registration fee includes one ABO measuring gauge per registrant provided at the exam.  Lunch will be included.

Space is limited to 70, assigned on a first-come basis.  ACT NOW to reserve your spot in the class.

Cancellation Refund Policy:  Since space is limited, there is no refund for cancellations after March 15, 2020.
