SAPA 2017 Public Service Excellence Awards
The State Academy for Public Administration's 2017 Public Service Excellence Awards ceremony will be held on May 22, 2017 at Rockefeller College in Milne Hall, Room 200. This is a fitting opportunity to celebrate some of your esteemed colleagues.
Join us as we honor and celebrate outstanding public servants. This SAPA event being co-sponsored by the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy and the NY Capital Chapter of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
There is no charge for this event, but registration is required.
This year's SAPA Public Service Excellence Awards will go to 3 individuals and 1 team. The Association of Government Accountants (AGA) also will be recognizing a member of that group with their 2017 Outstanding Achievement in Government Accountability Award.
The 2017 SAPA Excellence Awards will go to:
- Anthony Giardina - NY State Dept. of State (Athletic Commission)
- Lisa Lee - NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services
- Andrew D. Morris - NYS Department of Taxation and Finance
- Albany County Opioid Task Force
The AGA Award will go to:
- Martha Schaefer - NYS Office of Mental Health
Hors d'oeuvres, soft drinks, tea and coffee will be provided beginning at 5 p.m.
