A SAPA Candid Conversation
COVID Workplace Adaptation

 The COVID Pandemic has been disruptive in so many ways, both in our personal lives and our workplaces. This SAPA Candid Conversation will feature a panel discussion with state and local government leaders on how the workplace has had to adapt during the COVID Pandemic and what changes will likely continue in the foreseeable future.

Our three panelists have had direct responsbility for dealing with various aspects of the pandemic during a time when New York's citizenry has sought assistance and answers from government.  The panelists are:

  • Karen Geduldig, Associate Chief Information Officer for the State University of New York;
  • Rachel McEneny, the Commissioner of Administrative Services for the City of Albany;
  • Susan Filburn, the Department of Labor’s Deputy Commissioner for Employment Security.

All agreed to join the SAPA community to discuss their experiences on how the workplace has adapted in a COVID environment. Audience participation through Zoom's chat feature will be enouraged.

Attendance is limited and  is based on a first-in basis.
