Conference mission: To enhance the knowledge and skills of professionals working with children, youths, adults, and families with ASD's in evidence-based practices.

Intended audience: This event is appropriate for professionals who work with children, adolescents, and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and their families.  Parents and students are also welcome to attend.

The 6th Annual Groden Network Symposium is co-sponsored by The Groden Center and The Institute for Continuing Education.  The program offers a total of 6.0 contact hours, with full attendance required.  Application forms will be available on site. The CE processing fee is $10 per contact hour to be paid with registration. CE verifications are mailed to participants following the event. Psychology:  The Institute for Continuing Education is an organization approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The Institute for Continuing Education maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Social Work:  The Institute for Continuing Education, Provider 1007, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), www.aswb.org, though the  Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. The Institute for Continuing Education maintains responsibility for the program. The Rhode Island Chapter of the Autism Society of America is pleased to be able to award limited scholarships of $50.00 for parents to attend this symposium. Please contact Lisa Rego, President of ASARI at  riautismsociety@gmail.com, to enter your name. Parents will need to register and pay the full amount of $100.00.  After confirmation of attendance at the symposium, they will be refunded $50.00. 

Cancellation policy: Cancellations should be made in writing. A full refund will be made for cancellations received 7 days before the event. No refunds will be given for requests received after 7 days before the event, or for "no shows".
